Enterprising Women – Menopause Awareness Workshop

Menopause has been a hot topic in recent months but there is still stigma surrounding this stage of a woman’s life.  This is a phase of life every woman goes through, yet its stages and symptoms are often misunderstood.  Did you know symptoms can appear as young as 30 and there are many more symptoms than those that perhaps we are more familiar with such as night sweats and sore joints.

Some of you may remember guest speaker, Siobhan Kearney who did a fantastic workshop earlier this year on Work/Life balance.  She has recently founded Menopause NI to generate awareness and education supporting women to understand the impact of Menopause.  You can find further details here MenopauseNI – Help for Menopause, Menopause Support

By the end of the session, you will know the stages, symptoms, its impact on our physical, emotional and mental health and the support available to manage the menopause.
